Spring 2008 Issue

Thanks for coming to the big party

Our cookout at the American Swedish Historical Museum in South Philadelphia was fun. Thanks again to Beretta 76, The Tights, and Coldpheet. We had a few big ticket items for a live auction, but mainly this was a good old fashioned neighborhood barbecue!

The Spring Fling Auction
is now closed.

Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to support Philadelphia Stories. We need your support!

Though the online auction is over, you can still make a member contribution or shop online.

Philadelphia Stories Announces First Contest

We are proud to announce the Philadelphia Stories Essay Contest 2008, sponsored by Kelly Simmons. The focus on this first contest will be first-person essays that feature women triumphing over domestic violence or mental illness. We are excited about this opportunity, since the funds go to two good causes.
